My name is Marcus Leal and I’m a Character Artist and 3D Modeler / Generalist. After 4 years working as a 3D Generalist, I decided to focus on 3D modeling, which gladly headed to character development and traditional sculpting. After having classes at Gnomon School in Los Angeles, I became addicted to the study of human and animal anatomy. I had classes with Ryan Kingslien, who invited me to join ZbrushWorkshops as an Assistant Artist after the course was done. Ryan was an outstanding teacher. Since the beginning he gave me all the support I was looking for.
I keep myself focused on learning different ways to work with character development. I try to improve my workflow at every project. I specialize in Zbrush, MudBox (sculpting, texturing and bumpMap Painting), 3DsMax, Maya, Mari, Photoshop, dDo, Marvelous Design, Knald, Xnormal, Topogun, Unity3D, Marmoset, human and animal anatomy, drawing (not professionaly. Just for the study of anatomy) and traditional sculpting.
For résumé request, please send me a message via email@example.com and I will be glad to send it to you. 3D files are available to check topology flow as well.
I hope you enjoy the website and please feel free to contact me regarding any question you might have.

“Marcus amazed me with his eagerness to learn! In a relatively short time he achieved levels of artistic growth most accomplish in years. A talented, humble and extremely hard working guy. It was a pleasure to advise him as well as watch him grow as an artist. Anyone would be blessed to have him on their team!”
